Scope of this notice

Hivefinity is currently presented through this public website and an early-access enquiry route. Before a paid service handles customer or attendee data, the applicable service privacy terms and data-processing arrangements will be provided separately.

Who we are

Hivefinity is a Candanova product operated by Candanoca Limited, registered in England and Wales. For the public website and early-access enquiries, Candanoca Limited is the controller of the personal information described here.

Privacy enquiries: legal@candanova.com.

What we collect

When you contact us

If you email us about early access or Hivefinity, we may receive your name, email address, business details and whatever you choose to include in your message.

When you visit the website

Our hosting, delivery and security services may process technical information needed to serve and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps and security logs.

We do not ask you to create an account on this public marketing site.

How we use information

  • To reply to enquiries and discuss whether Hivefinity is suitable for your business.
  • To manage early-access conversations and prepare for a service you have asked us about.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and protect the website and related systems.
  • To keep necessary business, compliance and correspondence records.
  • To send optional marketing only where we have a lawful basis, with an easy way to opt out.

We do not sell personal information or use website visitors' data to build advertising profiles.

Our lawful bases

Depending on the situation, we may process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, because we have legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure website, because we must meet a legal obligation, or because you have given consent for an optional activity.

If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether our interests are proportionate and compatible with your rights.

Who receives information

We use service providers where needed to run the website and communications. Current infrastructure includes services for website hosting and delivery, security and email. Providers may include Vercel, Cloudflare and Zoho, depending on the activity.

Those providers may process technical or communication data as part of providing their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to professional advisers where necessary.

If personal information is transferred internationally, the relevant UK data-transfer rules and safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. For an enquiry, that means long enough to respond, manage genuine follow-up and retain business records we reasonably need. Security and technical records are kept only for an appropriate operational or security period. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access your personal information, correct it, ask for deletion or restriction, object to some processing, receive certain information in a portable form, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. These rights depend on the circumstances and are not all absolute.

Contact legal@candanova.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

Questions or changes

Email legal@candanova.com for privacy requests or questions. We may update this notice as the website and Hivefinity service develop; the date at the top shows the current version.
